Sakthi Mariamman Engineering College (SMEC), one of the renowned institution in Chennai signed a MOU with Banyan Technology Solutions (BTS) in order to provide software training and placement support for their students. As a part of the MOU, SMEC provided their students to get trained on the technology C, C++ in their campus. Students from various departments participated in this programme. A senior trainer from BTS provided industry oriented training on C,C++ and made them to do a project .

Students were extremely enthusiastic and showed keen interest in learning each and every feature of the technologies. Many of them had no prior exposure to C,C++, but towards the end of the programme, they felt confident that they had gained good knowledge on C,C++.

At the end of the training programme, a valedictory function was held during which certificates & materials were presented to each of the students.Mr.B.K.Bhadri, Regional Officer –AICTE invited as chief guest for the valedictory function who distributed the certificates to the students.

During the end of valedictory function, the Chairman, Mr.Ramachandran and the Principal, Dr.Vijaya Bhaskar Raju appreciated BTS for the excellent training provided to their students.
