Kings College of Engineering, one of the top Engineering College in Thanjavur has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Banyan Technology Solutions (BTS).The main objective of MoU is to train their faculty members on the latest technologies to provide quality training to their students and also to conduct Technical seminars, Training, Providing Academic project support to their students.

As a part of the MoU signed with BTS , Kings College of Engineering organized a faculty training programme on Microsoft .Net for their faculty members. Around 30 faculty members from Kings College of Engineering and their neighborhood colleges participated in this training programme.

Mr.Raja Murugesh , a senior technical person from BTS conducted this training for two days in their campus. This program was conducted to help them gain expertise on Microsoft .NET, the technology that helps in mobile computing.

The participants were enthusiastic and open towards learning new technologies. The entire programme was well received by the participants and they were keen on exposing their students too to such kind of training.

Prof.Vigneswari, Head of the Dept- CSE and Prof.Balaganesh, Lecturer – CSE of Kings College of Engineering coordinated with BTS & other institution faculty members and made this programme successful. The report of this program was featured in the regional dailies of Tanjore with photos.
